Day Dreamer // 2017

Posted on

It’s the first Wednesday of 2017 and I must admit that I’ve accomplished a lot! I moved my office into the bigger room in my apartment which gives me more space and tons of sunlight. I never realized how much windows matter to me until the last two months of 2016 when I worked in what is basically a dungeon.

I’ve also started doing a LOT with Brown Girl Bloggers behind the scenes. Moving to San Francisco has allowed me to meet some amazing people.

Last month I spent a lot of time dreaming and planning 2017. I want to launch a podcast, connect more with bloggers through BGB and do more with this blog and my youtube channel.

Last year was about setting myself up on a personal level and this year is about going hard professionally. I did a video about manifesting on youtube if you’re interested.

What about you? What have you been dreaming up for 2017?

  • Cheers! You can do it girl. 💃🏾🍾

  • I don’t do anything towards my follower count on Twitter at all. It’s not really a focus of mine.

    I also don’t follow a ton of people so…

  • Cute fit. Question while I’m here: Do you always follow a ton of people then unfollow them to keep your follower count higher on Twitter? Just curious.

  • So excited for what you have in store for 2017! Like you I have accomplished a lot in these first 3 weeks of the year! More than I did last year. I know it is because I did a vision board for this year. I really want to get my personal life in a better standing. My professional life is about to have a major shift. While I am not “ready” as they say. There is no time like the present to get started! So cheers to an amazing 2017 for both of us!

  • I can’t wait to see what you do with BGB this year; I know it’s gonna be bigger and better! Most of all, I’m looking forward to hearing the podcast. :) This year is all about professional stabilization for me. I’m tired of the uncertainty that comes with the jobs I’ve had these past few years. I just want a job that I can be at for a couple years so I can save money + pay down my debts.
