Yesterday I woke up feeling very sick.

Well, I had been sick for a few days but it was worse yesterday which sucks because I had a lot of work to do. The thing about being sick is that you have to give your body time to heal or you won’t get better and until yesterday I hadn’t been doing that. I was running around the city, hanging with friends and working like a crazy woman so my body had no time to heal. Yesterday I decided to take my vitamins and a probiotic and stay in bed all day which I’m happy to say did the trick.

Since I was feeling better by the afternoon Kyle and I decided to drive over to Hillcrest and go for a walk… and a bite to eat (we have to stop eating out!)

It was great because we stumbled upon this suspension bridge that we’ve never seen before. I hadn’t really thought of taking pictures for my blog but we though it would be the perfect backdrop. We ran to the car, got the camera and started… making magic happen?

Ok maybe not.

The magic in yesterday for me was my body repairing itself, my husband pampering me and the fact that we found the perfect place to take pictures we didn’t know we wanted to take.

This is why I like to go with the flow. You never know what you’ll discover.
